Halloween 2021: Activities for kids and adults

There are a surprising number of events and activities for young and old this Halloween. We've gathered a few of our top picks!

Adults can enjoy a lively atmosphere at most bars and pubs. For the kids, many towns are organising festivities. From costume parades to businesses offering treats rather than tricks, there are lots of options for the little ones.


Harry Potter Marathon!

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October - Salle Paul Gilardi

Biot pays tribute to the most famous wizard by showing all his films at the Paul Gilardi hall, continuously, from Saturday morning to Sunday late at night. A marathon simply interrupted to go and rest a little and to take part in the village shows.

Halloween 2021 at LaserMaxx Cannes

"The Labyrinth of Horror" Saturday 30 October 2021 from 7.30pm to midnight:

Not for kids, this place is open to teenagers from 13 years old and adults. The evening includes 2 games in the dark labyrinth with a spooky Halloween atmosphere, and a special ‘Horror potion’ beverage and sweets for all.

Price: 20€ per person

Great Ghost Hunt Saturday

30 October and Sunday 31 October from 2pm to 6pm

The LASERMAXX Labyrinth open for kids to hunt ghosts and win sweets and other surprises!

Spend the evening in a magical and mysterious historical setting at Villa Djunah.

For the adults, there is plenty to celebrate in Old Town Nice with nearly every bar and pub welcoming festive guests and encouraging costumes! Many places, including our favourite Irish pub, Ma Nolan’s will be celebrating the best costumes.


The massive shopping centre will have special entertainment for the kids and culinary specials on the Capsule terrace with face painting, candy distribution and more.

Across the centre, at IT Villaggio, the super fun Italian restaurant, they have trick or treat with friends or family and encourage you to dress up! The IT staff will be rewarding costumes with candy...

Halloween at Parc Phoenix

Sunday 31 October 2021, 10am to 4pm

Free escape game for young and old with the Phoenix School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Join the school for their training to fight against "the one who don't like sweets"!

Challenges, riddles and even quidditch with sweets for the children at the end of the game but make sure the kids come dressed up!

Hotel Ozz by HappyCulture

The super fun, multicultural hotel and youth hostel is throwing a Halloween party!

Ozz Bar invites you to its opening night celebrating Halloween on Sunday 31 October 2021...

Costumes are optional but if you come dressed up you can scare everyone!

Village of Madmen – for adults

October 23rd to November 11th

Beware, the Horror District is waiting for you with a terrible treasure hunt! Not recommended for children, this is something that will take all your wits! Will you be able to find your way out of the village des fous?

Opening hours of the Horror Quarter: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Not recommended for young children, parents must be present.

Group rate of 20 people or more for those who come in disguise during the All Saints' Day holidays.

Halloween Treasure Hunt

Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October 2021

A treasure hunt is organised throughout the village! Plus, a self-guided game to play with family and friends.

An hour of play for little monsters, little pumpkins, parents, grandparents, with sweets to collect!

Goblins' Wood Party

Park open continuously from 10am to 11pm with challenges for the whole family with lots of prizes to be won, including invitations to the park, tattoos, t-shirts and goodies.

There will be a big treasure hunt in the evening.

In recent years, Halloween* has become particularly popular in the Principality - especially among the youngest, who are delighted to celebrate 31 October in the same way as in Anglo-Saxon countries, with plenty of terrifying costumes and sweets! The Monaco Town Hall will therefore be delighted to welcome children back to the Princess Antoinette Park and the Caroline Library.

11th Great Halloween game at the Parc Princesse Antoinette

The Boîte de Jeux teams are expecting children attending school in the Principality for a brand new game. Disguises are welcome and sweets are on offer! Please note that due to current health measures, online registration is compulsory before Friday 29th October at 4pm, in order to choose your time slot (maximum 25 children per 15 minute slot).

A "special Halloween" programme at the Media Library

The Monaco Media Library is taking advantage of the All Saints' Day holidays to offer a programme of Halloween activities: making a "haunted house" book, an afternoon of games, a parent-child 4-hand workshop, or a popcorn kids' film - all on the theme of Halloween of course, a story reading entitled "Tell me a scary story", or a dedicated games evening with "Obscurio", "Mystérium" and "Mystérium Park", open to everyone aged 10 and over.
