Join Mimosa for a community Coffee Morning online
Save the date: On 4 February 2021, Join Mimosa Talks, a virtual coffee morning for World Cancer Day with talks on health and well-being by local experts.

For the past two years, Mimosa, the association devoted to the fight against cancer here on the Cote D’Azur, has been encouraging us to hold coffee mornings on World Cancer Day to raise both awareness and money for their projects.
This year, with Covid-19 still very much restricting our social interactions, they are organising a live, virtual event running all morning, with a schedule of speakers covering a wide variety of topics.
This event is open to all, allowing you to attend the entire presentation (from 9 am - 12:30 pm) or just “drop-in” for a coffee at the moment something piques your interest. Each 10-minute talk will be followed by a short question and answer session. Donations are voluntary but greatly support the work of the association so, take time out for coffee with Mimosa on World Cancer Day!
The programme of speakers starts at 9 am:
Tracy Leonetti, relocation expert, will talk about the French healthcare system for long- term illness cover
Antonia Beauvoisin-Brown of Kidooland will

Leigh Bodin-Bitouzet of Fit Nutrition will tell us how to Bring Your Health Back Into Balance in 2021
Christine Kjeldbjerg, a nutritional therapist, will be helping us support our immune system;
Linda Sicotte will share her experience of intermittent fasting as a way of life
Petra Gatto, photographer and cancer survivor, will tell us about her project Window for Beauty and Strength
From MBS Academie in Mougins: Jacqui Walker, MBPsS, will be talking about specific learning disorders, from recognition and diagnosis to the emotional effects of supporting a child with a diagnosis
Lucy Gray, yoga teacher, will explain how yoga can be adapted to suit everyone and why it is so beneficial to those suffering from illness or not
Veronica Blasband, essential oil specialist and aromatherapist will introduce us to aromatherapy and how it can help certain medical conditions and also explain the use of essential oils in integrative healthcare
Julia Gilroy, Alexander Technique and Learning Methods teacher, will encourage us to make the most of our lives by using our mind/body unity and learning faculties to help solve physical and emotional issues.
