Local Alpes Maritimes breweries unite for the 2021 Nice Beer Festival

The French Riviera has numerous high-quality, independent breweries and this weekend you can taste them all at the Nice Beer Festival!

The association of the Independent Brewers of the Alpes-Maritimes (BIAM06) is organising the first beer festival in the Alpes-Maritimes as part of the Nice-Matin RÉVERSIBLE event: the NICE BEER FESTIVAL on September 11 & 12, 2021.

For its second edition of RÉVERSIBLE, Nice-Matin headquarters welcomes many producers, craftsmen, local creators around a large market that connects local producers and eco-responsible consumers in search of short circuits and local products.

For this occasion, eight brewers of the BIAM 06 association (Independent Brewers of the Alpes-Maritimes) will hold a bar of 16 beers on tap. Come and taste the beers of your local producers, discuss with them, discover your brewers and their know-how in a festive atmosphere.

Support for Brasserie du Comté

One of the breweries involved is the Brasserie du Comté, a long-time fixture in the local Nice Beer community. Their brewery was absolutely devasted in Storm Alex last year. Many other local breweries came together to support Brasserie du Comté, including letting them use their bottling machines. Supporting this event also helps support this brewery, fighting hard to come back strong. To view a video on the damage and their resilience to keep producing their organic brews, watch the video:

On the programme:

Food-trucks with a beer brunch at 10am, a stage with live music throughout the weekend, entertainment, a tombola with numerous prizes to be won, games, a pétanque tournament and good humour...

Participating breweries

  • À La Fût (Cagnes sur Mer)
