Monaco's EVER Conference for Eco-Friendly Cars Evolves for 2021
The annual EVER conference returns to Monaco in May 2021, showcasing new sustainable technologies, electric vehicles and green energy systems. You can even go for a test drive!
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, transitioning to ecological propulsion systems, and evolving towards creating a sustainable product… These subjects will all be covered at the 16th international edition of the EVER (Electric Vehicle and Renewable Energies) Monaco conference at the Espace Fontvieille, from 5 to 7 May.
In recent years, the initiatives taken towards protecting the environment has been a prevalent change occurring in many companies in Monaco and in France. In that regard, one professional sector is continuously growing to become more eco-friendly: automotive manufacturing.
For more than twenty years, Monaco has been dedicated to developing renewable energies and electric mobility. In 2019, they introduced subsidies for anyone buying hybrid vehicles and offer incentives such as free parking for eco-vehicles, reduced parking charges for clean or low-polluting vehicles that emit less than 110g/km of CO2 and installed over 40 charging stations throughout the principality.
EVER Monaco celebrates this with exhibitors and specialists on the subject of ecological vehicles and renewable energies coming from universities and related business industries across the world. Previously held at the Grimaldi Forum, EVER has become so popular, this year it is held at the Espace Fontvieille to accommodate over 9,000 square metres of exhibitors. Explore the space to see current and futuristic green concept vehicles, some even available for a test drive!
Visitors will have the opportunity to attend roundtable talks with researchers, industrialists, and academics. They will discuss and share their knowledge of renewable energies and the development of ecological hybrid and electric mobility. The topics will range from propulsion systems, power supplies, generators, traction drives, the various energy systems (such as wind or solar, for example), to environmental impacts.
This year will see the 7th edition of the Riviera Electric Challenge. The objective of this event is to complete a route using an electric vehicle with as little energy as possible. The route starts in Cagnes-sur-Mer and ends in Monaco, and the participants will be asked questions linked to the implementation of energy transition at each site.
New for the 2021 edition, EVER is welcoming a selection of startups to exhibit and present their products/solutions to a panel of local decision-makers and investors. In partnership with the Institut Mines-Télécom, SBLM Ventures SAS and MonacoTech, the Monaco Ever Forum is organising a Startup Village dedicated to the Greentech and CleanTech sectors. Judges will choose the winning idea with a bursary of 3,000 euros.
Open 5 - 7 May, 10 am - 7 pm. Free entrance.
