SBM launches the ‘Monte-Carlo Festival of Stars’ gastronomic festival
From 29 May, the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer's star-studded chefs pair up with other top chefs for a gastronomic festival of epic proportions!
The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer will be launching its first gourmet festival, ‘Monte-Carlo Festival of Stars’ in May. Showcasing the cuisines of their star-studded chefs, this festival will be nothing but pleasure for our senses!
Alongside the newly arrived famed Chef Yannick Alléno to the Hôtel Hermitage, the expected new arrivals to Elsa at the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel, and the return of Andrea Berton to the Hôtel de Paris this summer, the seven-star conglomerate is announcing a series of dinners by a pair of starred chefs in the coming months. Kicking-off 29 May at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort’s Blue Bay restaurant, the Festival of Stars opens with chefs Marcel Ravin and Michel Sarran. This will be followed by other exceptional duos in the group’s various starred restaurants, culminating in November with a grand closing dinner at the Casino de Monte-Carlo with all the resort’s starred chefs. More than a festival, this is a true celebration of gastronomy orchestrated by those who make it shine: talented chefs who have been so missed.
‘Monte-Carlo Festival of Stars’: A series of brand-new collaborations
With 30 restaurants and bars and over 150 years of experience in the art of fine tastes and gastronomy, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, runs the most starred restaurants in Europe with 7 Michelin Stars, including Blue Bay at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, Le Grill at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Le Louis XV-Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris, or Elsa at the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel. Launching its first ‘Monte-Carlo Festival of Stars’ is their way of showcasing this unique portfolio.
From May to November (excluding July and August), special dinners will be prepared by the group’s in-house chefs, paired with a top guest chef, bringing together their expertise. Chefs Michel Sarran, Riccardo Camanini, Mauro Colagreco and Michel Guérard were delighted to accept the warm invitations of Marcel Ravin, Franck Cerutti and Dominique Lory.
This inaugural festival will be topped off in November by a grand evening in the prestigious Salle Médecin of the Casino de Monte-Carlo.
